It is a know fact that Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan is choosy when it comes to films. The actor doesn’t randomly say yes to films that come his way. For him, script is very important. Aamir, who is one of the jurors of Cinestaan India’s Storytellers Script Contest, spoke about what he seeks from budding scriptwriters.
“When I sign a film, I first look at the story or the script. We are looking at somebody with an imagination and a different story or scenario that we come across, where the characters have been well written, the premise and goal is clear and where the whole journey of the story is highly entertaining and engaging. That is what we look for in a good script. Actors and technicians are all a part of the film but it all begins with the writer. The writer is the origin and the most important aspect of the making of a film,” Aamir Khan says.
Aamir further adds that he learned the importance of script, director and producer at a very early stage in his career. On being a part of the script contest, Aamir said that it is a good attempt which must be supported.
