One of the popular and emerging actresses of Bollywood, Taapsee Pannu turns 31 today. On this special day of her life, the actress might have a working birthday as she is right now busy in promotions of her upcoming film, Mulk.
Well, Taapsee has always been known for her outspoken nature as she has given strong statements on many social incidences. Interestingly, during many interactions, Taapsee was asked about what kind of person who she would like to get married. On this Taapsee had given a solid answer which will leave you stunned.
At the time of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding, Taapsee was asked about whether she wants to marry a cricketer or businessman. On this, she told HT, “It’s not that I have tried too hard to keep my personal life under wraps and wanted to keep it away from everyone. I am not dating any cricketer, actor, or director, producer or any big Indian businessman. Whenever my wedding happens, there will not be any hoopla about it. Right now there is some wedding season going on in the country but when I tie the knot, I don’t think it will interest the Indian media so much. Whenever my wedding happens, it will not be to a cricketer or a rich businessman.”
Well, her reason behind that was quite strong as she further added in her quote stating that, “We have examples in the past where someone has been dating a certain person, and people say their partner is why a person is not performing well. The partner then becomes the [bringer of] ‘bad luck’. I don’t want to get into that category, where whatever I do depends on my partner’s luck.”
Earlier there were rumours stating that Taapsee is allegedly dating Olympic silver medallist badminton player Mathias Boe. However, she never spoke about it openly and never bothered about it. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Taapsee had said that “I like the fact that people are so oblivious to my personal life. My personal life is not too fun, as much as my films or my career. The only reason I don’t talk about my love life is because once I start talking about it that becomes the headline of every story written about me.”
Well, it seems like Taapsee is keen to marry a normal person who can give her a lot of love and respect.
