So is this going to be a working birthday for you?
Yes and it almost always is a working birthday.
How do you intend to celebrate your birthday this year?
I don’t have plans but I have the afternoon off before shooting and will spend it with Daniel and my team for a nice lunch hopefully near the ocean
What has been your fondest birthday memory?
My best birthdays were when I was younger. My mother baking me a cake and I got to wear my nicest dress that day.
Has becoming a star ever affected your privacy, especially when you are celebrating with your family? Has that ever annoyed you in any way?
Not really because I choose places to be where I can have my privacy. And when I celebrate in California no one knows who I am so I can do as I wish anytime.
Will you be in Mumbai or Canada to celebrate this occasion?
I am in Pondicherry working.
Which Bollywood film are you shooting now or you will start shooting?
I start shooting for my next film soon and I am not allowed to talk about it just yet. I have one more film that will release this year and then I start working on other films I have signed.
You recently did a special number with Shah Rukh Khan in Raees…May be it’s one of the best birthday gifts you have received this year?
Well it is definitely an honour to work on this song for sure.
How was the experience?
It was amazing and I am so thankful to Shah Rukh Khan for having me a part of his film. It really is a dream-come-true.
Any plans of working with AamirKhan anytime soon?
I will keep wishing and praying and hopefully it will happen.
What is the best thing that happened to you this year?
Professionally, definitely the song shoot for Shah Rukh Khan in Raees. Such a proud moment for myself and my team!
