Shahid Kapoor just dropped the trailer of his next release, Kabir Singh that shows the actor as a heartbroken college student. The film is a remake of the south cult film, Arjun Reddy. While fans are impressed by the film’s first impression it also reminded most of their college rendezvous. Twitter took it next level by sharing hilarious memes inspired by the trailer.

Kabir Singh is directed by Sandeep Vanga who also directed the original film. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani as leads, the film follows the titular character who is a brash, alcoholic doctor quick to anger and is trying his best to forget his former partner who is forced to marry someone else. The film will also show a flashback that will see a younger and sober Kabir falling in love as fellow students in college.
Kabir Singh will hit theatres on June 21.
