It is not easy to be an actor, they keep saying that but it is truly one of the most physically exhausting experiences of a layman. For Pia Bajpai the first experience with the 70mm will be etched in her mind for ever. Given Pia isn’t absolutely new to the world of glamour, she is relatively a well-known face on television given she has featured in more commercials than she cares to count, but with films, she marks her debut with Randeep Hooda’s upcoming film Laal Rang.
She had been shooting with the actor along with the other cast of the film in Haryana at the same time when the city was hit massively with dengue. Co-incidentally the film’s plot required them to shoot in a hospital and they had to wear face masks for real and not just for the shoot, as there were many people admitted due to the disease. Pia and her co-star Akshay felt the pain of the people out there , in fact Pia fell ill post the shoot for a while.
“It is not easy for actors, it is glamorous profession but there is a lot that goes behind it all. If you would have seen the conditions in which they have to shoot some times, you will have new found respect for them. So it is not at all surprising that Pia fell ill post the shoot of the film, it is good that it was nothing serious though,” said one of the set-hands rather matter of factly. Well, for Pia we hope the ill-ness and the pain of working on-real locations didn’t scare her too bad. For this is merely the beginning.
