The makers of the upcoming movie AZHAR have given their own twist to the cult song “Gajar Ne Kiyahai” from the movie TRIDEV and it will definitely bring back some old memories for every 90s kid! The new version of this mega hit features Nargis Fakhri, who has surely impressed us as the new Oye Oye girl.
The original song, composed by KalyanJi & AnandJi, became a rage among the youth and OyeOye too is sure to create a fan frenzy. With its catchy dance tune recreated by DJ Chetas, coupled with the sultry voice of Aditi Singh Sharma this song has all the making of being a chartbuster. Watching Nargis dance to this epic number brings back memories of the original Oye Oye girls that included Sangeeta Bijlani, who is the inspiration behind Nargis’s character in the movie. The video of this song also marks the moment when the reel life Azhar falls for the gorgeous Sangeeta.
Taking off from the first two songs that were soft romantic ballads, Oye Oye is an out n out dance number. Looks like the makers of Azhar have ensured that they bring to you a mix of all musical genres to add to your must have playlist. Though Azhar is not a biopic, it is based on some well-known incidents and facts of former Indian cricket captain Azharuddin’s life. The film is directed by Tony D’Souza and stars Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Lara Dutta along with others. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Sony Pictures Networks, the film is slated to release on May 13th, 2016. It is a Balaji Motion Pictures and Sony Pictures Networks’ production.
