Ki and Ka makes 25 23cr in 1st weekend

New Delhi: Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer movie ‘Ki and Ka,’ released on April 1 collected Rs. 25.23 crore in the first weekend.

Film critic Taran Adarsh took to his twitter handle to announce the Box Office collection of the R. Balki directed movie which according to him is ‘wonderful.’

“#KiAndKa Fri 7.30 cr, Sat 8.41 cr, Sun 9.52 cr. Total: ? 25.23 cr. India biz. Needs to maintain momentum on weekdays for a STRONG Week 1…,” he tweeted.

“#KiAndKa has a WONDERFUL weekend. Performs VERY WELL at plexes of urban centres. Emerges 3rd highest opening weekend of 2016 *so far*…,” read his another tweet.

‘Ki And Ka’ recorded the second highest opening day collection of the year with Rs.7.30 crore, specially in metroes.

This movie is based on gender role reversal, where Kareena essays the role of Kia, a career-oriented woman, while Arjun essays the role of Kabir, a house husband.

The film is about the relationship between the two and how the society sees it.
