Valentine’s is very important for me as it is a day to show that you care for your husband and the entire family. I feel every weekend is a Valentine weekend and given an opportunity I would like to go to Maldives to celebrate the weekend on their beautiful beaches as I am completely a beach person. I also shower my husband Bhushan Kumar and family with gifts. I feel the day is not only about your husband but for the entire family. And nowadays even children celebrate Valentine weekend!

Every day of my life is a Valentine weekend for me. I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s as such but given a choice I would
opt to head for the mountains as I am totally a mountain guy and I like tranquil places.

I generally spend my Valentine weekends working but given a choice I would love to go to Paris for its magnificent beauty and the pristine surroundings. I am also partial to Amsterdam where I was brought up. I also love going to beaches as I enjoy them in every way.

For me and my husband Pankaj Saraswat, every day and every weekend is a Valentine Day special. This weekend must be celebrated because it increases the love and caring for your spouse. Generally we spend our Valentine weekend by going to a new hotel to try out a new cuisine. Given a chance, I would like to go to Maldives as I have a soft spot for the beaches there and it would be a great Valentine weekend for me.

Though we express our love to our wives every day, it is like going to a temple and praying to God which we generally don’t do frequently! Yes, this is that special moment for me and my wife as we head for a holiday generally in Thailand or Lonavala closer home. I am totally a beach guy and I would like to enjoy a beach holiday with my wife. I would also like to gift something exquisite to my wife.

I feel there should be no fixed day for showing love towards your valentine. I think every day the colors of love should be in your life. This day makes us realise the significance of a loved one in our life. I would like to celebrate it with my wife and family too. I would like to take my wife and kids out for dinner. On this day we make each other realise our strong bond of love and trust.

As my wife and I are very fond of traveling, we wish to go to a nearby getaway. Our evening can be wonderful with a glass of wine and a special dinner. I think the language of love is not only between the couple but it is between your father, mother, brother and even your pets. This day is celebrated to rejoice Valentine’s love, who was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine’s actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.
