When Shirish Kunder decided to make a movie, everyone who supported Farah Khan came up and supported him, however the tide turned when apparently the man started rubbing people the wrong way and did not really look as ‘grateful’ as they had expected him to look. Result? A few slaps and well, loads of noses in the air and nothing much in the name of support.
When his films failed, the little remainder of the goodwill also sapped out really fast, why wouldn’t it? He never spared anyone and apparently it was payback time. Given the man has really no big names in the industry to back him today, it was a surprise to see none other than Kangana Ranaut herself stepping up to give him support.
For Shirish’s film KRITI, Kangana decided to launch the event and give him the eyeballs he needs to make the Manoj Bajpai, Radhika Apte starrer a household name, albeit for only for a day when the news agencies would be going berserk covering it on all social mediums.
“That’s Kangana for you; she has no qualms about burning bridges with the high and mighty, if they have wronged her. She is always someone who makes it a point to stand with what she believes, she never lets her personal equation come in between her work, how will she ever refuse to not support a good film just because the person who made is, isn’t popular with the industrywallahs? It is really amazing how much steel the girl has in her marrow. She stands for what she believes, consequences be damned,” quipped friends of Farah and Shirish.
The more you get a glimpse of her personality, the more you are convinced that these are things heroes are made up of!
