Bollywood’s Golden girl Sinakshi Sinha turns 29 today. The Dabangg girl who got fame after her debut appearance in Dabangg opposite Salman Khan. She was never keen to be a part of filmdom, rather she was interested more to be a stylist or fashion designer, she took training for the same. But, as we know, a star kid just cannot stay away from film industry.
Her dialog from Dabangg “thappad se darr nahi lagta saahab”, turned out to be her identity of fame.She gained more popularity after she was heavily criticised for body shamming. But she proved that only being a ‘size zero’ is not sufficient to mark once excellence, your skills and talent make your character more precise. One could not just find a place to work with the industry’s super stars.
Apart from not being a size zero, she was also criticised for taking up such movies that does not offer much role of her. According to her, level of your performance matters, not the length of your script.
In her five year career, Sonakshi have worked the most popular and hit stars like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Prabhu Deva, Arjun Kapoor and so on. She was even appreciated by critics for her performance in her Lootera as a Tuberculosis patient opposite Ranvir Singh.
She was also appreciated in her video with Yo Yo Honey Singh.
Sonakshi will next be seen in the action thriller “Akira”, which is slated to release on September 23. She will also feature as a journalist in “Noor”.
