Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is a proud dad after his daughter Alia gave her career’s next hit HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA with co-star Varun Dhawan. But even after the first good weekend of the film, Mahesh has advised both the actors not to get affected by fame!
HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA, which released this Friday, had an impressive opening at the box-office. According to Box Office India the film earned Rs 9,02,00,000 on the first day. Mahesh Bhatt took to Twitter to congratulate both the actors and even posted a picture of them saying, “The hit team! But beware kids.. Success is a lousy teacher. It makes even the wise believe that they can never fail.” Hmm… point to be taken!
Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shashank Khaitan, HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA was Alia and Varun’s second film together after their debut STUDENT OF THE YEAR. HUMPTY… is said to be a modern take on Shah Rukh-Kajol starrer classic love story DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE.
