Divya Khosla Kumar who is all set to direct her second film, ensures all that she wouldn’t be getting any money from her husband, Bhushan Kumar had he not believed she can deliver!
“When I made ‘Yaariyan’, I made sure I was under budget,” Divya chirped, given she was apparently given only 11 crores to make the film it might not have been a mean feat. The film being appreciated and the music ringing loud on the year’s best charts shows that T-Series was certainly glad with what Divya did for them.
It is a business after all, “Bhushan wouldn’t want his wife to do something random and get the name his father has made for the company down, it is very important to him that we maintain a standard and I am very supportive of that thought,” Divya’s next is moving away from yuppy-college life into human relationships and its complexities.
“I had known very early that I would never be able to sit at home and do what other star-wives or socialites do, giving lunches and gossiping isn’t really my idea of time well spent, somehow I have no patience with gossip to begin with. I have always been a hard worker, coming to this town at the age of 20 wasn’t easy, but I did what I could from the offers given to me, I have a creative bent, I like to explore my talent, I love to work and when I am not working, I have a baby boy who keeps my hours busy,” said the gorgeous director.
