Deepika Padukone’s first look as Malti in her upcoming film ‘Chhapaak‘ has been released. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Instagram account and posted the picture captioned as, “Deepika Padukone as #Malti in #Chhapaak… Directed by Meghna Gulzar… Costars Vikrant Massey… Filming begins today… 10 Jan 2020 release… Produced by Fox Star Studios, #DeepikaPadukone’s KA Entertainment and #MeghnaGulzar’s Mriga Films.”
Deepika commences the shooting today and has been excited for the film ever since the announcement. The actress who will be turning producer with the film has been dropping behind the screen pictures on her Instagram.
When sharing the look on her account she called Malti a charcter she will never forget, “A character that will stay with me forever…#Malti Shoot begins today!#Chhapaak Releasing-10th January, 2020. ”
Directed by Mehgna Gulzar the film also stars Vikrat Massey. Chhapaak is based on the real-life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
