The launch of Tisca Chopra’s book, ‘Acting Smart’ saw much more than just the launch of the book. Imtiaz Ali who was present at the launch, jokingly mocked at the existence of casting couch in the industry and said that he has never encountered such a situation in his life.
On asking whether he has ever had to go through anything like this he said, “I always had to disappoint my old college mates when they eagerly asked me how I was enjoying his success in the industry as a director and about the much written about casting couch as well. Casting couch is just a myth and so were a lot of things said about directors and producers who gave breaks to actors. The majority of film makers today were hard core professionals.” He plainly refused the existence of any such glitch in the industry.
