Deepika Padukone, unveiled her first look from Chhapaak on Monday. Padukone in the picture looks remarkably close to Laxmi Agarwal herself, and B-town has only praises for it.

Deepika will turn producer for the first time with ‘Chhapaak. The film is a joint production venture between Fox Star Studios, KA Entertainment and Mriga Films. The film has gone on floors in New Delhi today and stars Deepika alongside Vikrant Massey. Chhapaak is scheduled to release on January 10 next year. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is based on the life of Delhi-based acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
