Ayushmann Khurrana has quite the sense of humour. Quiz him on his turning daddy again and he jokes, “I touch her (wife Tahira) and she becomes pregnant!” He goes on to quip that he is a donor in real life too, adding that both his kids were unplanned. The enormity of kids and life does get him nervous at times but he is entirely grateful to Tahira for taking care of the kids and him! “I’m travelling most of the time,” he points out. “The only bright side is there won’t be much of a generation gap between my kids and me.”
The perennially busy actor admits that his two and a half year old son Virajveer misses him a lot and even believes he lives inside a television, only coming out occasionally! That said, he believes that films are just his profession and eventually nothing is going to last. “My family is my life… and I’ll go back to my family,” he says with quiet confidence.
Now, of course, is the time to make hay and Ayushmann is sparing no efforts. In this respect, he is again grateful to wife Tahira for holding fort and allowing him to fly. He avers that his wife knows that he is at a critical stage in his career and that he needs to work a lot. “It is difficult to find a balance,” he admits, adding that an actor spends more time with other people than his own family, and is even more patient with his fans than he is with his own close ones. It’s a bizarre situation but he is handling it the best he can. And they think a star’s life is easy!
