Anushka Sharma used a ‘FILMY’ fake name for husband Virat Kohli to keep wedding prep a secret

Anushka Sharma recently appeared on the cover of Vogue India magazine. Ever since her wedding to Virat Kohli, the two have been couple goals for their PDA, social media posts and their immense support for each other in work and life.

During an interview she spilled some of her wedding secrets nearly a year and a half later. While she talked about her wedding and how they managed to keep it a secret from media, Anushka confessed to using fake names. “We wanted to have a home-style wedding. There were only 42 people there, with all our friends and family present. I wanted it to be about Virat and me marrying each other, and not this big celebrity wedding. The energy at our wedding was blessed.”

Revealing the fake name she used to fool others she said, “I think Virat’s was Rahul.”

The actress got married to cricketer Virat Kohli in December 2017. On the work front, Anushka was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer, ‘Zero’ essaying the role of a scientist with cerebral palsy, alongside Katrina Kaif.
