Arjun Mathur is the new celebrity crush for all the girls around the country after he was seen playing the lead role in Zoya Akhtar’s web series, Made In Heaven. The show revolved around a couple of friends who owned an elite wedding planning company of the same name. The series has been a huge hit since it has started streaming on Amazon Prime Video. This is not Arjun Mathur’s debut, but one of his best performances so far. The show also tackles the biggest social issues in the best way.

Arjun recently posted a throwback picture from his Rang De Basanti days where he was the assistant director to this Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra’s directorial. Rang De Basanti, like Made In Heaven, tackled social issues with utmost grace. He posted a picture where he is donning long hair and a French beard with Aamir Khan in his Chandrashekhar Azad look for the film. He captioned the picture as, “Major #throwback – the year 2005. Standing-in on mark for the ‘present day D.J.’ next to #ChandrashekharAzad for one of the past/present #VFX transition shots required for the #climax in #RangDeBasanti. #RDB was my fourth and last film as an #AssistantDirector (and the end of utility jackets for me). What an honour to have been a part of this #rebellion, this #movement. Yes, it was much more than a film. And what a grand privilege to have gotten to observe the genius and work-ethic of @_aamirkhan on not one, but two entire feature-films, even before I had started acting professionally. There’s just so much I’ve gotten to imbibe from this man.. and in case you can’t tell from my longing gaze, I’m forever #grateful for it.

Aamir Khan, very lovingly reported the image with the caption, “Hey Arjun, so wonderful to see you doing such great work. I really enjoyed Made in Heaven. Love, a.”

Take a look at the picture.

We totally agree with Aamir Khan, even we loved binge-watching Made In Heaven. On the work front, Aamir Khan’s upcoming movie Lal Singh Chaddha will go on floors in October. The said film is a remake of Tom Hanks’ hit Forrest Gump.
