The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the online registration option for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam today. The candidates can apply for the same on the commission’s official website, ssc.nic.in. SSC CHSL is an intermediate level examination conducted for the recruitment in the central government departments.
The online application process began on March 5. SSC also released the official notification for the CHSL exam on March 5. The SSC CHSL 2019 computer-based test tier 1 will be held from July 1 to July 26. Tier 2 exam (descriptive) will be held on September 29, 2019. “The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India,” the SSC notification reads.
Steps to apply for SSC CHSL 2019:
Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage click on the login tab
Step 3: Click on New User- register now and fill in all the required information.
Step 4: Fill all the information required: basic details, additional contact info- photo and signature upload.
Step 5: A registration ID is created, click on the ‘apply online’ tab at the top of the homepage
Step 6: Click on the CHSL tab
Step 7: Click on Apply.
Step 8: Fill in the required details
Step 9: Deposit the application fee of Rs 100 and proceed
Step 10: Keep a copy of your bank challan and submitted a form for future reference.
