MoE, CBSE, AICTE Launch ‘School Innovation Council’; Read to know more

Ministry of education's Innovation Cell (MIC) along with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has jointly started the School Innovation Council (SIC) during the course of which more than 12,800 school teachers across the nation as Innovation Ambassadors. This is an initiative by India's top education bodies for building innovation and entrepreunial ecosystem with schools, as reported by NDTV.

The SIP is an initiative so that the schools can be at par with the vision of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The vision is to promote unique thoughts, ideation, innovation, and entrepreneurship in a sustainable manner, according to the MoE.

The calendar activities of the SIC include panel discussions and leadership conversations with successful innovators and going on the field for identification and prioritizing programs. There will also be an exhibition of the best prototypes at all-India level. Moreover, some startup ideas might also be funded.
