CSIR UGC NET December 2024: The Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 exam, which was initially scheduled to be conducted on February 28, 2025 (Shift-1) at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, Assam, was cancelled because of a technical issue. This affected candidates taking the Earth Sciences and Mathematical Sciences subjects. The NTA has released the fresh admit card for the affected centre. The CSIR UGC NET December 2024 exam at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, Assam will be conducted tomorrow, March 2, 2025, as per the notification. The exam for Earth Sciences and Mathematical Sciences subjects will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm in a single shift. For all of these candidates who will take the test, the agency has released the new admit cards.

Candidates must bring their updated CSIR UGC NET December 2024 hall ticket on the day of the examination. Candidates who fail to bring their CSIR UGC NET admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
The CSIR UGC NET tests for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) scholarships and lectureships. The test consists of objective-type, multiple-choice questions and will be an online computer-based test (CBT) in English or Hindi. The three-hour test is divided into three parts: Part A, Part B, and Part C, for a total of 200 marks.
