Alamuri Ratnamala Institute of Engineering & Technology (ARMIET) conducted a one-day field campaign, ARMIET  Bazaar on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15 by  engaging about 100 management and engineering students,  in collaboration with Bombay Sarvodaya Mandal, Mumbai.

The event, conducted from 9 am to 5 pm saw ARMIET students talk about the Father of Nation – M K Gandhi and Gandhian values in current society to the audiences from the streets. Students also distributed specifically designed pamphlets on the importance of Gandhiaan values.  ARMIET students carried the copies of Gandhi’s autobiography.

Mr Laxman Gole and Mr Tiwari from Sarvoday Mandal, Dr Mandi Prasad – NITIE, Mr A V Gupta – Chairman & Dr L S Bothra Alternate Chiarman of ARMIET graced the occasion along with the faculty. Students campaigned at specific spots including  popular malls, outside railways stations and other popular junctions.
