Whether it is mankading or some other form of dismissal, it looks like Kings XI Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin has a tactic to dismiss non-striker at any cost. During the IPL 2019 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Ashwin ran-out non-striker Mohammad Nabi but this time, the spinner did not use mankading.

Actually, David Warner played a shot off Ashwin’s 2nd ball of 12th over. As Warner looked to take a single at first, Nabi too went ahead of the crease to take a run. Unfortunately for batsmen, the ball went towards Ashwin who collected it on time. As soon as he collected it, he hit the stumps, as a result of which Nabi was run-out. Have a look at the video below.

The Afghan all-rounder Nabi had to leave at the score of 12 runs of 7 balls. Ashwin had been earlier criticised to mankad Jos Buttler during an IPL 2019 clash between KXIP and Rajasthan Royals. In the match, Hyderabad put up a score of 150 runs in the first innings, which was chased by Kings XI Punjab in 19.5 overs. KXIP will now face Mumbai Indians on April 10, while Sunrisers will take on Delhi Capitals on April 14.
