Kuldeep Yadav has earned great success at the start of his cricket career. Just after making his international debut in a Test against West Indies in June 2017, Kuldeep earned the respect of selectors as well fans with his good performance and now holds a confirmed berth in India’s 2019 World Cup squad.

With 87 wickets in just 44 ODIs and 24 wickets in 6 Tests, the left-handed bowler Yadav has shown his bowling magic to the world. Kuldeep, who comes from a rare breed of Chinaman bowlers, says that he never considered himself as chinaman bowler from his childhood. Chinaman bowlers are those bowlers who can bowl leg spin with left hand. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Kuldeep mentioned that he always used to feel that he was bowling like Shane Warne. “I never used to see myself as a chinaman bowler. I used to feel I am bowling like Shane Warne. So I always used to bowl like him, try to turn the ball like him,” he said.

He also revealed that he never used to get scared even if he went for runs and this is an advantage he has in him from childhood. “I never used to get scared even if I went for runs. I felt nothing should weigh that heavily on me that it makes me scared. That is the plus point for me. Sometimes I go for runs and feel bad. But I also know that I can get the batsman out. That is an advantage I have from childhood”, Yadav further said.

Yadav will be travelling to England with the Indian squad for World Cup 2019. Along with Yuzvendra Chahal, he has been selected among the primary spinners for the team. The World Cup 2019 is set to begin from May 30, 2019.
