The first Bharat Gaurav train of Western Railway from Indore station of Western Railway Ratlam Division was inaugurated on Tuesday by Minister of State for Railways & Textiles, Darshana Jardosh via video link. Shankar Lalwani, MP (Rajya Sabha) Ms. Kadwita Patidar and MLA Ram Mendola were present. Promoting the concept of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” and “Dekho Apna Desh” by Indian Railways, operation of tourist trains is being started. In this sequence, the Bharat Gaurav tourist train operation was launched. This train will have 3 air-conditioned DLT and 8 Ryanair class coaches for passengers. In this yatra, sightseeing places of Puri, Gangasagar, Kolkata, Baidyanath, Varanasi and Ayodhya will be taken. Non A.C. accommodation including tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided to the passengers during the journey. The facility of non AC tourist buses will be provided for local sightseeing.
