Jhabua : These days, many electric wires can be seen hanging down from the electric poles in many colonies. A severe mishap may occur if any vehicle comes in contact with these wires. On the other hand, wires of the high-tension line are hanging amid the roads and they often come in direct contact of the heavy vehicles such as trucks, dumpers, etc. If the vehicles come in their contact, power-cut is observed in the city for hours.
One of the electric poles located Nehru road, is full of cobwebs and the cover of the DP box has rotten. A fault is observed here quite often. At times, sparks have been observed from the transformer, which has been put up at Vivekanand Colony.
Few days back, an electric pole fell down on the street, due to which the wires passing through the pole were scattered on the ground. The nearby residents blocked the way and made sure that nobody enters the area as there were chances of mishap.
