BHOPAL : There was sharp drop of 2.5°C recorded in temperature during the night in state capital on Wednesday. Both the maximum and minimum temperatures were below normal. However, it was crisp sunny day with high percentage of humidity enhancing discomfort level for the citizen. But the by the evening, coolness infused in atmosphere.
Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 32.3 °C which was 1°C below normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 19.4°C which was also 1°C below normal. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was 32.8°C and it was 22.0°C in the night.
Nogaon recorded 37°C which was highest in the state while Betul, Damoh and Indore recorded 18.0°C which was lowest night temperature in the state. However, many parts of the state are likely to experience light rain. It is transition period between rainy and winter seasons. Therefore, there is fluctuation in weather – days remain warmer and nights cooler.
As per the meteorological department, rain and thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places over Ratlam, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Badwani, Khargone, Chhindwara, Betul and Burhanpur districts in the next 24 hours. Days are rather sultry and uncomfortable due to high humidity in October.
