BHOPAL : With the officers in the state being constantly on target of national general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Kailash Vijayvargiya, for their attitude, he has once again trained his guns on the bureaucracy.
Talking with media persons after his arrival in the city to attend a programme Vijayvargiya said it is attitude of the bureaucracy which would prove to be the weakest link for the BJP’s victory in 2018 assembly election.
Vijayvargiya said chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is running the government well. Referring to his Tweet about slipshod approach of officials about metro in Indore, he said when he was minister for urban administration and development it was a plan to run the metro from 2018. However, in view of the project’s pace, it would hardly be completed by 2028.
Vijayvargiya said the investigative journalists should find out reasons behind the metro getting late. The plan was prepared to run the metro up to Dewas and Ujjain.
Bhopal metro was also to be extended up to Sehore and Mandideep but pace of the first phase is being carried out quite slowly. He said the Congress is nearly nonexistent in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat and everywhere else. The party is being run by event managers instead of its leaders. Referring to statement of Jyotiraditya Scindia about taking the Congress to Choupals he said it is beyond comprehension that whey did he tell to journalists what he should have told to Rahul Gandhi and Arun Yadav. Vijayvargiya said Scindia has been gripped by frustration.
Besides, state BJP president Nandkumar Singh Chouhan said since Vijayvargiya went to Delhi his understanding of the state’s politics has diminished.
At a time when there is huge dissent in the state BJP the next election would be fought between the BJP and the BJP, said minister for Panchayat and rural development, Gopal Bhargava. He was talking media. The BJP is passing through internal turmoil, he said, and things in the BJP are soon turning that like the Congress. Bhargava requested the party leaders to handle the situation.
