Two buildings collapsed, no causalities reported

Sendhwa : A chaos like situation gripped the region when years old two buildings situated at Sadar market collapsed on Tuesday evening. No causalities were reported but loss of around lakhs has been estimated.

As per the information, in these two buildings one Haji Yakub and his relatives collectively owned a shop of grocery and clothes named as Khajana Sale and MP collection and near this shop, the construction work of Haji’s brother was being done through JCB machine. On Tuesday around 5 pm, soil started to cave in and the shops were emptied on time. Both the buildings were collapsed gradually. Lakhs of material including JCB machine, three motorcycles were buried under the debris. As this news spread in the town, people in large number started to throng at the spot. Police and municipality team also reached and started the work of clearing debris.
