Indore : A speeding mini-truck hit a motorcycle near Bicholi Mardana Bypass killing a girl and injuring her parents.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital where the condition of the father is said to be critical. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
According to the police, Bhagwandas (45), Sumanbai (40) and Alka (15) were on their way to the city on a motorcycle from village Panod.
As they reached Bypass road, a speeding Eicher truck hit them. The impact caused the family to be thrown off from the motorcycle. Truck driver managed to flee the scene with truck
Nearby people called the police and 108 Ambulance and rushed the injured to the hospital where doctors declared Alka brought dead. Bhagwandas and Sumanbai are being treated but condition of Bhagwandas is said to be critical.
