Mhow-Dhar : At-least three persons were killed and one seriously injured in road mishap occurred on Lebad-Manpur Four-lane highway. According to police, the container-jeep collision took place near village Sherpur culvert on Monday around 3.0 pm.
The victims were identified as Mukesh S/O Radheshyam (23), Narendra S/O Shyam (22), Bheem Chand, S/O Deep Chand (22) and Rajkamal S/O) Prakash Chandra, all residents of Bhavanipur from Haryana and they were heading to Shirdi in a Jeep No HY-B-6422.
The jeep had just crossed the Lebab (Dhar)-Manpur four-lane road that all of a sudden the container No RJ-14-G-7903 hit the jeep hard from backside. At the time of mishap, jeep was parked roadside and the passengers were on road to see the fault. The impact was so intense that the jeep turned upside down twice and fell on the ground far from the former place. Due to that Mukesh, Narendra, Bheem died on the spot and their mate Rajkamal got severely injured.
He has been referred to Indore for treatment, according to Manpur Police. The police have registered the case and seized the container. The driver of the container has been arrested.
