BHOPAL : On the second day of ongoing international seminar on ‘Value-Based Life’ here on Saturday, various sessions were held. Director of famous educational institution ‘Super-30’ Anand Kumar also gave a lecture. Anand Kumar said human values have changed lives and value-based Education has made ‘Super-30’ successful when 308 students out of 360 students qualified for prestigious examination like IIT JEE.
Anand said a teacher can bring about bigger change in the society than a politician. He said human values are deeply instilled in children belonging to poorer families. He said the students who acquired education in Super-30 are working with top institutions.
Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, Wardha, Chancellor Professor Kapil Kapur said life should be lived according to rules. He said it is necessary that one should constantly strive and acquire new knowledge. Educationalist Atul Kothari said it is necessary to change education to change the country. He said Indian education should be based on Indian values. Professor Lene Bengan from America said India has presented the knowledge of Yoga and spiritualism before the world. He said Indian knowledge should be promoted for the establishment of values.
Senior film maker Chandraprakash Dwivedi said values should be part of one’s behaviour. Our social and personal life should be same. IPS officer Pawan Jain said being insensitive does not mean being progressive. Good character leads to good family, society and nation. Subramanyam Bhatt said values are created at home, school, temples and society. He said as a river aim to meet the sea in the same way, man’s aim should be attain ‘Devatva’. Litterateur Urmila Shirish said there must be desire to learn values.
Pawan Sinha said values are means as well as end. He said educationists, scientists and educators can prepare the roadmap but the responsibility of their implementation is of executive and society.
