BHOPAL : Revenue Minister, Rampal Singh, speaking in an inaugural function of a three-day convention under ‘PACS’ programme here on Wednesday, said solving the land related problems of the deprived sections of the society is included in the priorities of the government. He said Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) play a major role in extending the benefits of the schemes and rights.
Minister said the government is sensitive towards the interests of Dalits and tribals. Land related policy would be made through ‘Bhumi Aayog’. The taskforce constituted for disposal of land related problems has been re-constituted. He said local representatives would be also included in the taskforce.
The land disputes between forest and revenue departments would be solved soon.

PACS Programme, National Convener, Rajkumar also spoke on the occasion.
Dalits, tribals, Muslims and people from financially weaker sections from 17 districts across the state are taking part in the convention. Discussion on topics namely forests rights, revenue land rights, right to employment, health and nutrition would be held in various sessions of the convention.
