BHIKANGAON/DHAR/KHACHROD/ KHARGONE : On the occasion of Vijaya Dashami (Dussehra), members of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated its foundation day across state. The celebration marked with ‘shashtra puja’ (arms worshiping) and ‘Path Sanchalan’ (procession). Huge gathering of RSS workers were witnessed in many districts and tehsils where they celebrated the foundation day with great enthusiasm. It may be toted that RSS was founded by Dr Hedgewar on on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami at Mohite Ka Bada in Nagpur in 1925.
At BHIKANGAON, a large numbers of RSS workers gathered at school ground at 10 AM. Here they performed the ‘shastra puja’ under the guidance of tehsil head Dongar Singh Solanki and a took out procession which passed through various routes of the town.
At KHACHROD, RSS workers, dressed in khaki half-pant and white shirts, took out a huge procession from the various routes of the town and performed ritual of ‘shastra pujan’.
At KHARGONE, RSS workers gathered at Circuit House shakha ground at 8 AM. RSS town head Sanjay Deshpande said that Sangh Chalak Manoj Joshi and Dr Shambhu Singh Nanhar performed ‘shastra pujan’. After performing ‘shshtra pujan’, RSS volunteers took out a huge rally which passed through Jawahar Marg, Shrikrishna Talkies, Post Office Square, Sarafa Bazaar, Jhanda Chowk, Bhavsar Mohalla, Bavadi Bus Stand and culminated at Circuit House. RSS Jila pracharak Sohan Parmar, Radhesyam Patidar, Abhinav mahajan, Govind Khode and Vinod Bhavsar were also present on the occasion.
