Police unfold 16 burglary cases

Sagar : The Sagar police unfolded 16 burglary cases, committed in two police stations namely Padmakar and Gopal Ganj. Police have arrested five people including one woman and a minor and seized items worth rupees 15 lakh from them.

According to Superintendent of Police Sachin Atulkar, Sanjay Prajapati along with his wife Anita planned the burglary and Anita herself went with Sanjay to carry through. Police seized many items including 180 gram of gold ornaments, one kilogram of silver ornaments, 9 gas cylinders, 8 LCD TV, a car and papers of a 1000 square feet plot. Sanjay is also a habitual criminal. Besides, police is interrogating the accused to find out more burglary cases from them.
