Dhar : Senior officials from police and administration on Monday visited the places and took stock of the poll preparations for the first phase of Panchayat elections.
Collector Jayshri Kiyawat and SP Rajesh Hingankar reached Nalchha, Dharampuri, Manawar and Gandhwani where voting for Janpad Elections will be held on Tuesday in the first phase.
The officials instructed the staff on duty for a free and fair elections and ensure that voters cans exercise their franchisee without any fear.
The sector magistrates were asked to perform their duties as the representatives of collector and if they see any untoward incident or malpractice at the poll both, they should immediately inform their superiors.
The employees present on duty were warned of stern action if any of them were caught under influence of liquor and other banned addictions.
They also asked the poll employees to refrain from any kind of welcome by any person.
The arrangements are made for return of poll employee from outside the Janpad areas and vehicle will be available to take then at their headquarters.
The voting will take place from 7 am to 3 pm and afterwards counting of votes for panch and Sarpanch will be held.
