BHOPAL: Election Commission of India has decided the symbol for NOTA, which would be printed on the ballot paper. The symbol of NOTA would be in the form of a box with a sign of cross. This information was given at a meeting of political parties organized at the office of Chief Electoral Officer for by-polls on Ratlam Lok Sabha seat and Dewas Assembly seat. It was informed in the meeting that the symbol of NOTA has been decided after discussion with political parties in September. Although, the political parties suggested not to use the said symbol citing the reason that sign of cross would confuse the voters.
