BHOPAL : Enquiring the reason for a four-month delay, the NGT on Monday instructed Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) to constitute a medical board with a team of three doctors (allergy, and chemical side effects) till January 7. Congress leader PC Sharma had filed a case over negligence and ignorance of the company towards the health of employees.

Advocate Piyush Vajpayee who appeared on behalf of PC Sharma, said, “P&G is still mum over environmental clearance as it is mandatory for the company. The P&G is running its business since 1991.”

PC Sharma said, “P&G is intentionally delaying the issue related to health of workers. The company has not submitted a report on soil, water and chemicals despite being given four months time by NGT.”

NGT has declared ex-party to all departments like MoF, municipality, village Panchayat, CMHO Raisen for not submitting report for the last six months.
