BHOPAL: Mayor -in-Council (MiC) has passed a proposal for sterilisation of canines through an NGO. Stray dogs menace has increased in almost all the colonies of Bhopal. . NGO will be given the job.
MiC has also cancelled the permission given to M/s Tusal Enterprises for unipole advertisements. Mayor Alok Sharma chaired the MiC meeting.
MiC also okayed various proposals like construction of three more floors at Mata Mandir with Rs 2 crore, Renovation of Chhola Crematorium with Rs 1.46 crore has been cleared and Rs 21.51 lakh sanctioned for LED mike system at Parishad Hall. Similarly, MiC also okayed Rs 27.88 lakh has been sanctioned for parking lots at Mata Mandir BMC office. Rs 60 lakh has been sanctioned for nullah construction at Riviera Township.
BMC has given offer of Rs 5 lakh for parking at Bhopal Utsav Mela which will last for one month in January. Rs 4.25 crore has been okayed for sewage system in Bhaisakhedi.
