BHOPAL: State food and civil supplies department has floated a new policy for paddy procurement for nine lakh farmers and scrapped provision of bonus Rs 150 per quintal.
The procurement will start from November 3 with starting of registration of farmers.
The state government scrapped bonus following instructions from Modi government.
The centre asked the state not to provide extra cost to farmers other than the MSP on procurement otherwise it won’t reimburse the fund.
