Muslim religious leaders demand probe by Supreme Court judge

BHOPAL: Several Muslim Ulemas and Muslim organisations have expressed their concern over the incident of SIMI inmates fleeing away from jail and their encounter at Acharpura.

Syed Mohd Mushtaq Ali Nadvi, Shehar Qazi, Bhopal, Syed Babar Hasan Nadvi, Naib Shehar Qazi, Bhopal, Peer Saeed Mian Mujdidi, Amir, Tajul Masjid and others have shown concern over the incident of jailbreak and encounter at Acharpura.

They claimed that the incident of SIMI inmates fleeing away from jail, murder of head constable Ramashankar, the inmates getting killed at Acharpura in an encounter and not arresting them alive, come under suspicion.

They demanded the incident to be probed at high-level by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court.

They said that government officers and Press calling under trials as terrorists, is illegal and such types of statements and articles should be immediately stopped.
