Jail inmate made to scale boundary wall before CM

BHOPAL: The jail authorities are not ready to learn a lesson from the incident of jailbreak by SIMI under-trials of Central Jail, Bhopal. During inspection of jail by chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday, a jail inmate was made to wear uniform of a Jawan and scale the boundary wall of the jail. This was done as part of recreation of the incident. Sources said earlier jail ‘Praharis’ were used to recreate the incident but none of them was able to scale the wall. Finally, an inmate was chosen. When jail officials were asked about the logic on the matter, they turned tight-lipped. One of the officials, on the condition of anonymity, said CM was informed about this thing.
