BHOPAL: A regional convention of Rashtriya Isai Mahasangh was held at Gandhi Bhawan, Polytechnic Square, Bhopal on Monday.
A discussion was held on the issues including uplift of Christian community, simplifying of process of aid given to Christian minorities by the government, checking of atrocities on religious leaders of Christians and ensure employment to youths.
SK Muddin, Deputy Chairman of Minorities and Backward Classes Finance and Development Commission was the chief guest. Jolly Kurien presided over the programme. Shailendra Shailey said Christianity teaches us to serve the humanity. Ibrahim Qureshi said Christians come under minorities and they should be uplifted. A human chain was also formed for bringing Christian community into the mainstream of the society.
