BHOPAL : A team of Food and Civil Supplies department on Sunday raided Priti Home Appliance at Ashoka Garden and found small LPG cylinders being refilled which has been banned. The team seized metal nozzles used for refilling.
In fact, refilling is banned as it is dangerous. Generally, mistake is committed while refilling through metallic pipe and nozzle which could lead to a mishap.
Acting on a tip-off, the team of food and civil supplies swung into action and seized the illegally refilled LPG cylinders.
Inspector Sandeep Bhargava said, “We found many LPG cylinders and small (4 Kilos) LPG cylinders which students generally use. Priti Home Appliance used to refill the LPG gas which is prohibited as it is dangerous. So we raided and seized the LPG cylinders.”
