BHOPAL: Amidst state government making tall claim to stand by Nepal earthquake victims, government officials are not willing to go to Nepal for relief and extending help to the neighbouring country.
On the directions from National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), revenue and rehabilitation department could find a list of five officers, who are tehsildars to send them to Nepal for relief works, said official sources.
Even as instructions for sending officers were sent to all departments in the state government by chief secretary Anthony De Sa, said the sources. NDMA had sought list of officers from the state till April 28. The chief secretary circulated the directions to each department for seeking names of officers. Only revenue and rehabilitation department which is the nodal department for such task, only found its five officers for this task.
