BHOPAL : Former minister Jagannath Singh (69) passed away on Monday in a private hospital of the city. His last rites would be performed in his native town Chitrangi on Tuesday. Singh was minister for Labour and SC,ST welfare.

His body was kept at BJP State Office, where Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, former Chief Minister Kailash Joshi, Ministers and BJP Leaders paid tributes.

Singh was known for his popularity in the Vindhya region, especially among the tribal community of the Vindhya region.
