Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath, interacting with journalists in Jabalpur on Saturday said that the process to constitute Legislative Council, in accordance with Congress Vachan Patra, has started. Nath said constituting of Legislative Council is a constitutional process and this process has begun. Chief Minister said they would be deliberating with the investors on February 19 so that they develop trust in the state. Nath claimed that the investors had lost trust in the state in past fifteen year.
200-acre for 290 gaushalas, loan waiver of 25L farmers
Giving details of the works done, Nath said 200-acres of land had been sanctioned for 290 Gaushalas. The process of farm loan waiver has started and the loans of 25 lakh farmers would be waived by March 2. Nath said Bank officers would go to tehsils to give certificate of loan waiver.
‘BJP leaders had admitted to financial mess in state’
Nath said at the time of government formation we got an Madhya Pradesh which was leading in the country in terms of rape, unemployment and farmers suicides as legacy. Nath said the state coffer was empty and even the BJP leaders had admitted to the financial mess in the state. Nath said, irrespective of this fact, we did several works in 53 days. He said works would intensify once the state coffer is full.
