Dhar : A review meeting about the three level panchayat generation election 2014-15 preparations was held under the presidency of the District Election Officer Jaishree Kiyawat yesterday at the collector office.
Collector Kiyawat instructed all Tahsildar, Nayab Tahsildars and Chief Executive Officers from Janpad to inspect the voting centers by December 15.
She instructed to conduct election at the new school buildings in the voting centers where the construction of new school buildings have taken place. She also added to release the important proposals regarding the election yesterday itself at all the voting centers. Ramps have been made compulsory at the voting centers. She also said to conduct the election only on ground floor of the building.
She asked the officers to send vulnerable mapping area marking and critical voting centers information immediately. All returning officers have been instructed to inspect the vulnerable areas personally and perform a review of the areas. The returning officers have to ensure fearless voting.
Collector Kiyawat inquired about the EVM and voting boxes. The communication plan and the model code of conduct were also discussed. She also instructed to do video graph the important incidents. She also instructed about the appointment of the assistant election officers for the submission of the nomination forms.
Returning officers were given the duties to instruct the sector officers, conduct election training sessions and arranging of the vehicles for inspection of the voting centers and the preparations.
