BHOPAL: Counting of votes for all 29 parliamentary constituencies of the state would be held at district headquarters of 51 districts on Friday from 8am. Police have made adequate arrangements at the counting venues and its surrounding areas to ensure law and order situation.

Director general of police Nandan Dubey said directions have been given to all superintendents of police (SPs). Besides, 17 companies of Central Paramilitary Forces, 16 companies of Special Armed Forces (SAF), 4 companies of RAF and around 3500 police units have also been deputed for the security at counting spots.

A striking reserve of 3200 police personnel has been given in all districts to tackle emergency conditions during procession of winning candidates. 10 companies of special armed forces (SAF) and around 2600 police personnel have been kept as reserve  to control any unwanted situation.
