Hoshangabad: Collector Sanket Bhondwe on Tuesday inspected the people who have been displaced from the forest villages and assessed programmes with regards to their rehabilitation. The meeting which was organised at the Collector’s chamber witnessed presence of Deputy Collector Teena Yadav and Deputy Director of the forest department, RP Singh.
Collector Bhondwe directed the officials to give facilities to the villagers of villages such as Sridhana, Fiferi, Paraspani, Mana Kachchar, Khakarpura, Badakchar, Ghodanar, Parraspani, Dhargaon and Churna with regards to giving land for farming, housing and other facilies and directed them to give the required compensation.
A Collector link court also would be organised in Pipariya to listen the issue of people displaced from the forest zone villages. He informed that Teena Yadav would be listening to the cases at the link court.
